We believe that the Bible is the inspired, “God-breathed” Word of God and that its teaching is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:162 Peter 1:20-21).

We believe in one God that exists in three persons—the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ walked this earth, fully God, and yet fully man (Philippians 2:6-11), and died on the cross.  We believe that after His death, Christ was buried, He rose again, and now lives at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for the believers forever (Hebrews 7:25).

Christianity proclaims that Jesus’ death on the cross was sufficient to completely pay the sin debt owed by all men and this is what restores the broken relationship between God and man (Hebrews 9:11-1410:10Romans 5:86:23).

Our Brick Church

109 East Main St - Elbridge, NY 13060

The Elbridge Community Church has a long history of serving Christ in our community dating back to the 1800’s when The First Congregational Society (1800) and The Baptist Church (1813) began their ministries. During World War II, the two churches united in ministry as the Elbridge Community Church in 1945.

We have maintained and continue to use the two historic church buildings of the founding churches.  The Brick Church is fully accessible and serves as our Worship Center and church office.  The White Church is our Fellowship Hall and community center.

Our ministries include Sunday morning Worship at 10:00 a.m. , Sunday School and Bible Studies, Vacation Bible School, Youth Ministry, the Women’s Christian Society, Prayer Shawl Ministry and a Thrift Store.  We are active in the J-E Area Church Board and Food Pantry in ministering to the community and support the ministries of the American Baptist Churches and the United Church of Christ in sharing Christ’s love around the world.

We are committed to serving the Lord Jesus Christ in the community and world and look forward with hope and expectation to the opportunities God will provide for us to share His love in the days and years ahead.  We are looking for others who will join us in worship, fellowship and serving the Lord and our community.
